On November 16, the “International Seminar on Evidence-Based Education” was held in Beijing. Associate Professor Kang Cui attended the seminar and presented a report entitled “The Imperative of Evidence-Based Education Evaluation in Chinese Universities” in the “Evidence-based Education Evaluation” sub-forum.

In the report, Associate Professor Kang Cui explained the key function of evidence-based education evaluation in higher education, the internal and external needs of evidence-based education evaluation in Chinese universities, and the methodological framework for implementing evidence-based education evaluation in Chinese universities. She also discussed the necessity of implementing evidence-based education evaluation in Chinese universities. The report received wide attention from the participants.

The seminar was jointly organized by Beijing Normal University and the Beijing Chaoyang Government, with the participation of esteemed experts and scholars from over 40 educational institutions worldwide, including the United States, Finland, and Japan. The attendees comprised education decision-makers and frontline practitioners. The Beijing Normal University Education Department and the Beijing Chaoyang District Education Commission supported the event. The conference focused on “Evidence-based Education Decision-making and Practice: Promoting high-quality Education Development.”
